Having an ADHD brain or being a person with ADHD can mean that your life is more difficult than a neurotypical person. Getting a diagnosis, or realising that ADHD describes you, can raise questions for you about your past and your identity. Managing in a world organised by and for neurotypical people can be very challenging.
Talking through these things with a therapist can be transformative. Your therapist can offer you a space to share your experiences and to make sense of things.
As a person-centred therapist, I meet you as the person you are. I have done specialist training in ADHD, and am happy to share any information, knowledge or strategies that might be of interest. But really, I am here to work with you, on the issues that you bring, whether they are connected to ADHD or not.
